Sometimes I am playing FM on stream and someone will point out that something I am doing is useful and should be a video. The art, and it is an art, of cultivating a list of potentially free players in your football manager save then combing through them in a way that is not detrimental to your team is something I have spent my whole FM life trying to perfect. I believe I have it down now and it was pointed out to me that making a guide to this trial art would help people not spend that same amount of time getting a feel for it. This is VERY MUCH a feel thing. While a lot of Football Manager is a science, what takes a player from good to great is having a feel for how things will work out in certain situations. With these free transfers, I am trying to provide you all that feel. The perfect balance of training workload, dynamics, and scouting the maximum number of players the moment they become free is intricate, but the rewards can be a completely new team that can get you promoted out of whatever league is requiring you to scout this way. Football Manager had to react to the COVID pandemic as much as the real world itself did, as it tries to replicate the actual footballing world itself. This has combined with some other trends to lead a whole host of FM players into stalemates in lower leagues that in previous years, the Football Manager gods had been able to prevent. We take a look at the financial and transfer changes that have led to everything from scouting to tactics not being able to carry you from league 15 to league 1 nearly as easily. It is still obviously possible. I have done it in Portugal and plenty of hardy Football Manager players have pulled off their classic lower league saves all over the world with a whole pile of trophies. But, I trust my DMs as a barometer of how the FM community is feeling, and lower league management is biting hard for lots of folks. That’s why I end this video with my best tips and tricks for overcoming this roadblock that has been erected on the path to greatness. Le regole sono: 1) Non si possono usare programmi esterni come FM Scout o l'editor in tempo reale 2) Non si può usare la funzione di ricerca giocatori/staff. 3) L'unico modo per comprare giocatori e staffer è quello di usare il report degli osservatori o gli annunci di lavoro. 4) Non ci si può dimettere. L'unico modo per lasciare una squadra è l'esonero. 5) Si può aggiungere una nazione dopo ogni stagione conclusa (ma non sempre, se no il gioco diventa pesantissimo :D )

‘One Of Our Own’ is an FM21 adventure where we take charge of Kettering Town, one of football’s minnows, and try to guide them all the way to the Premier League. However, unlike other Football Manager 2021 adventures, we won’t be signing wonderkids or bargain free transfers, we’re going to try and make it to the English Football League just using the players we start with and the ones that come through the annual youth intake. This will probably end in the sack, many of my Football Manager saves do, but join us as we try to create One Of Our Own!
