정정 사실 엄밀히는 포인터를 사용한 호출은 call-by-reference로 보기 어렵습니다. 주소 값을 넘겨주어 그 주소에 해당하는 변수의 값을 바꿀 수는 있지만, 변수의 주소 값 자체는 바꿀 수 없기 때문입니다. 하지만 변수의 입장에서는 변수 자체가 바뀐 것처럼 보이기 때문에, 겉으로는 call-by-reference처럼 보이는 것입니다. 따라서 포인터를 넘겨주는 것은 주소에 의한 호출(call-by-address)이라고 부르는 것이 가장 정확한 표현입니다. (xin ren님 감사합니다) 질문 있으시면 댓글에 남겨주세요.

Apparently there is a little confusion about "what phrase means what thing". I could not find clear references for one or the other. My explanation in the video of "Call By Result" is based on material from... my university (? ... I forgot). Other places/people/books might understand "call by result" differently. Other places/people/books might call what I explain differently. E.g. Wikipedia calls what I explain: - "Call by copy-restore" - "copy-in copy-out" - "call by value result" - "call by value return" Wikipedia also says: "When the reference is passed to the callee uninitialized, [it] may be called 'call by result' ". However, there is no reference given on Wikipedia for this part. Therefore: Be careful with the wording. Also: Make sure to read the comments. Try google translate for the German ones. There are two methods to pass the parameters as arguments to functions 1) Call by Value 2) Call by Reference In Call by Value both actual and formal parameters will have different memory locations and In Call by Reference both actual and formal parameters will share common memory location.
