When you log into a new computer for the first time or finish a new Windows installation, you will most likely be asked to create a PIN number that you can use to login with rather than your password. You might not even realize that this PIN will be used in place of your password and that might not be what you want. Then when you go to remove your PIN, you might find that the Remove button is greyed out, not allowing you to remove it. Fortunately, this is an easy fix and you just need to change the Hello sign in options in the Windows settings. If you are using Windows Professional Edition then you can even use the Group Policy Editor to help fix this problem. This demo shows how to do this with a Microsoft account as well as a local user account and was made with Windows 11 but the procedure works exactly the same for Windows 10. Here is how you create a local account in Windows 11 (and Windows 10). 🤍🤍youtube.com/watch?v=30Z4veH-P4c Check out our book titled Windows 11 Made Easy to take your Windows skills to the next level! 🤍🤍amazon.com/dp/B09HFXWXRY

Ive got a unique problem- so i bought a surface pro and I accidently signed in with the wrong outlook account during the setup. i set up my windows hello face id and password and then realized I didn't want this account on my device. i went to delete that off my device an signed in with a new one and again set up my face id and password. this time it didn't let me set up face id as I had already used my face on another account (which I deleted). now after trying to sign back into the old account and delete my face from windows hello it doesn't show up, and now I'm stuck with two accounts that wont accept my face id coz they're thinking its already being used on another account. i know what i just said may not have made any sense so don't hesitate to ask! anything helps thank you!!
I did all of this and the remove button is still greyed out. :(
Thank you sir!
